TUITION PAYMENT POLICIES:

Tuition is for 36 weeks of classes from September through June, which are divided into three, 12-week trimesters.  

Winter Break and Spring Break are not counted as part of a trimester, so there is no need to make up classes for those weeks.  

Late Payments: A $25 late fee will be added for tuition more than ten days late. Students may not take class if tuition is more than 15 days late.  

KP Ballet Academy accepts checks. 

KP Ballet Academy passes through any returned check fees.    

REFUND POLICY:

Tuition, Registration Fees as well as Performance/Costume Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Therefore, if a student has paid tuition, Registration and/or Performance/Costume Fees, and then withdrawals, for any reason, no monies will be refunded, transferred, or held on-account.

MISSED CLASSES - MAKE-UP POLICY:

Make-up classes are permitted any time within the 36-week session. Make-up classes cannot be transferred to a future session. Parents must call/email to schedule make-up classes as we limit the number of make-up dancers per class. Make-up classes may be taken before or after the missed class.

PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION POLICY:

Students may participate in ballet performances only if account balances are paid in full.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS:

Weather related closures: We follow the Haverford Township School District for weather related closures #455. These decisions are made for the safety of our students and teachers. Students are entitled to a make-up class on another day in the same level or lower level class. No deductions of tuition may be made for inclement weather.

DROP OFF POLICY/LATE PICK UP POLICY:

Students may arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to class time and must be picked up 15 minutes after class ends. After 15 minutes past the end of scheduled class, a $20 fee will be charged every half hour to compensate the instructor who is waiting with your child.

GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL:

The use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco on school grounds is grounds for dismissal. 

Any parent, guardian or student behavior that, in KPBA staff’s sole discretion, is determined to be disruptive or disrespectful is grounds for dismissal.

Tuition, Registration and Performance Fees will not be refunded for any student who is dismissed for cause.

CLASS PLACEMENT:

Children are placed in class levels at the sole discretion of KPBA staff.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

KPBA reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.

PERFORMANCES AFFECTED BY WEATHER:

KP Ballet Academy will reschedule ballet performances in extremely adverse weather conditions. In this event, please check the KP Ballet Academy Facebook Page or call the office at (610) 853-0555 beginning at 8:00 AM the morning of a performance for updates on the status. Please check before you leave for the performance, as the status may change if the weather worsens. If KP Ballet Academy must postpone a performance, another performance will be scheduled. KP Ballet Academy has a strict no refund ticket policy, so please make every effort to attend the snow date performance. Thank you!
