Making Their Mark!

Whether your dancer decides to pursue dance or an entirely different career path, we encourage them every step of the way

Principal Dancer Kathryn Luke’s KP Ballet journey started in elementary school, and by late middle school she’d fallen in love with ballet. She performed in every one of our great classical ballet productions and also in our contemporary company, DVBC. Watch as she reminisces about her favorite KP Ballet moments on stage and off, and talks about how ballet ultimately led her to wide open spaces.

Former KP Ballet First Soloist Courtney Elcock went on to become a Physician’s Assistant.  She performed many starring roles at KP Ballet before graduating with her ballet cup full and excited about pursuing other life dreams.

KP Ballet graduate Emily Pochet was awarded a dance scholarship to Goucher College, her dream school.  She double majored in dance and biology.  Other than dance, Emily is also an accomplished golfer, singer and actress.

Molly Wells was accepted into Butler University’s prestigious Department of Dance and was also a political science major. Other achievements include the gold medal in the National German Exam and the Christian Service Award at Delaware County Christian School.

Principal Dancer Natalie Bruce was one of our very first students.  Natalie performed many starring roles at KP Ballet.  After graduating, she became a teaching staff member here at the studio.  Natalie was offered a position with American Repertory Ballet Company.

Meet Lindsay Funch, KP Ballet graduate and professional ballerina.  Lindsay began her professional career at Light of the World Ballet before moving on to Manassas Ballet Theater in Virginia.  On her ballet company breaks, Lindsay teaches here at KP Ballet.
